The CW has announced the production of a new series about a superhero based on DC Comics character Flash. The channel will start working on “Arrow” spin-off “The Flash” which will be focused on the adventures of Barry Allen alias The Flash.
The superhero will be play by Grant Gustin who previously worked on “Glee” and in some episode of “Arrow“. We don’t know yet the date of the premiere but we know that a big name will appear as a guest during the first episode. The one and only John Wesley Shipp (Mitch, my alter ego, in “Dawson’s Creek“) will appear in an unspecified role in the first episode of the series. This choice was made because John played the role of “The Flash” in the 1990 series and, for this reason, the producers of the show decided to give to John a role for the series premiere.
