NBC seems starting working on the reboot of the popular show “Murder, she wrote” telling the intriguing stories of the amazing and beloved Jessica Fletcher, role that gave the worldwide recognition to Angela Lansbury. What we know is that this time the main character will be interpreted by Octavia Spencer, the Academy Award winning actress for the her role in “The Help”.
Well it seems the the dear Angela is not particularly happy of the idea that the show keeps the same name even if she recognize that they have all the right to do it. Here what she said:
“I think it’s a mistake to call it Murder, She Wrote, because Murder, She Wrote will always be about a Cabot Cove and this wonderful little group of people who told those lovely stories and enjoyed a piece of that place, and also enjoyed Jessica Fletcher, who is a rare and very individual kind of person …”
What I can say is that to me Angela will always be a myth, I grew up watching “Muder, she wrote” and I still cannot stop watching it when I see it on tv. And damn Angela for being 88 you look amazing!
