BBC has renewed “Atlantis” for a second season. Thanks to good ratings, the drama, which stars Jack Donnelly, Robert Emms and Mark Addy, became the most succesfull Saturday night show. The first three episodes of the show had an audience of 6.7 million of viewers so the BBC has decided to renewed it.
Charlotte Moore of the BBC, said:
“Atlantis delivers original British drama with the kind of scale and ambition that we’ve come to expect from the cinema. It feels very much at home on Saturday nights on BBC One, it’s been wonderful to watch Howard and the team create a whole new world, brilliantly inspired by Greek mythology which is proving a hit with all the family and a second series is richly deserved.”
We don’t know yet when the second season will start of how many episodes will be create but we think that this show is one of the most exciting of this 2013/2014 season.
